Park Meadows
hosts Red,
White and Blue Sunday
[SEPT. 6, 2002]
On Sept. 29 at 10:30 a.m.,
Park Meadows Baptist Church is hosting their third annual Red, White
and Blue Sunday. This is a special day which allows the church to:
• Honor and thank fire
department, emergency services and law enforcement personnel in the
area.
• Motivate and challenge
people to pray for, support, and appreciate those men and women who
dedicate their lives each day to protect and serve us.
• To hear the leaders of
fire department, emergency services and law enforcement personnel
publicly honor someone from their departments.
• Teach the youth that
these men and women are to be respected and obeyed.
• Provide an opportunity
for those who work in key areas to hear a message of encouragement
from a nationally known and respected chaplain.
The special speaker will be Mark Rizzo.
He is an FBI trainer; seminar speaker on gangs, organized crime,
criminal justice and behavioral science; and executive director of
FREEdom Flyer Ministries, which has more than 500 staff members
serving law enforcement in 42 states and four countries.
A potluck meal after the morning
service will be provided for all guests and their families and
shared by members of the church.
