Carroll Catholic graduates class of 2003

[JUNE 19, 2003]  Graduation for Carroll Catholic School eighth-graders was on Memorial Day, May 26. Special activities began with a 9 a.m. breakfast and presentation of awards at the Knights of Columbus Hall. The breakfast was hosted by the Knights of Columbus and seventh-grade parents and students. Diplomas were presented by Monsignor Higgins at an 11:30 a.m. Mass.

Honors

• Diocesan Religion Award: Andrew Kleinman, Kathryn O'Donoghue, Matt Schick and Maggie Shattuck

• American Legion Citizenship Award: Kathryn O'Donoghue

• Ada K. Tierney Reading Awards: Matt Schick, highest reading score; Andrew Schonauer, greatest effort and improvement

• American History Award: Matt Schick

• Knights of Columbus spelling bee bonds: Zach Eimer and Maggie Shattuck

• Music Award: Josh Baker

• Presidential Academic Achievement Award: Josh Baker, Laura Gillen, Kathryn O'Donoghue and Matt Schick

• Presidential Academic Effort Award: Jeramy Delgado

• Student Council Awards: Kathryn O'Donoghue, Justin Ritchart, Laura Gillen and Josh Baker
