Marian J. Kavanagh,
84 of Lincoln, passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2003 in St.
Clara's Manor in Lincoln. (Natural Causes).
A Memorial Mass celebrating her life will be held on Saturday,
December 27, 2003 at 11:30 a.m. at Holy Famliy Church in Lincoln
with Father Thomas Taylor officiating.
No Visitation is scheduled.
Burial will be at a later date in Holy Cross Cemetery in Lincoln.
Memorials can be made to Holy Family Church or to St. Clara's Manor.
Peasley Funeral Home in Lincoln is in charge of arrangements.
Miss Kavanagh is survived by neices, nephew and cousins.
She was preceded in death by two brothers Charles R. Kavanagh and
Richard W. Kavanagh.
She was born in Tecumseh, Nebraska to Charles S. and Helen R.
Schweikert Kavanagh on July 28, 1919.
Miss Kavanagh was retired from the Farms Home Administration where
she had been an administrative assistant. She a member of Holy
Family Church and had been a volunteer doing sewing at St. Clara's
Manor.

Glenn L. Martin, 98, of Lincoln died
at 10:15 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 25 at Maple Ridge Care Centre.
Mr. Martin was born to Zachie and Blanche Adell (Miller) Martin on
Oct. 14, 1905 in Lincoln. He married Maybelle Rigg on May 16, 1928.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, two brothers, Vigil
and Paul Martin; and one grand daughter, Cathy. He was the last
member of his immediate family.
He is survived by two children; Richard L. Martin, Lincoln and Joyce
H. Moore, Placetia, CO; two grand children and five great grand
children.
Mr. Martin worded at Stetson China and at Cuttler Hammer. He was a
member of the Methodist Church and the Lincoln Masonic Lodge and
Eastern Star.
Holland and Barry Funeral Home is handling arrangements. He will be
cremated.
Arthur Wayne Hankins,
Jr., 75, of LaBella, Florida died of natural causes at Memorial
Medical Center on Friday, Dec. 26, 2003.
Visitation will be 10 – 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 29 at Mason City
Methodist Church. A service is scheduled at 11 a.m. with the Rev.
Bruce Bolin Ghitalia officiating. He will be cremated and buried at
Mason City Cemetery at a later date. Hurley Funeral Home is handling
arrangements.
Mr. Hankins worked with seed corn companies in Ames, IA.,
Shenandoah, IA., Mason City and Kihei, Maui before retiring to
Labelle, FL. in 1994.
He was born Feb. 1, 1928 to Arthur Wayne and Naomi (Bowser) Hankins,
Sr. in Muscatine, IA. His mother survives.
He married Norma Royene Badham in Kahoka, MO. in 1947. She survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Valerie Jo Sarginson of Naples,
FL. and Toni Royene McDaniel of Mason City; one son, Roy (Dorothy
Anderson) Dewayne Hankins of Madison, MN.; three brothers, Joe
Kathy) Hankins of Iowa, Gordon (Connie) Hankins of Naperville, Tom
(Debbie) Hankins of IA.; one sister, Jane (Bill) Wulford of IA.
He was preceded in death by his father and a son-in-law, Denny
Sarginson, who was married to Valerie Jo.
Memorials may be made to the Mason City United Methodist Church or
