Logan County Treasurer's office extends hours for property tax payments           

[AUG. 15, 2005]  Lincoln -- The Logan County Treasurer's Offices in the Logan County Courthouse and the Dr. John Logan drive up window will be open to receive tax payments Saturday, Aug. 27, 2005 from 8:30 to 12 noon.

A penalty of 4 1/2 % will be charged on any unpaid 1st installment of real estate taxes and a penalty of 1 1/2% will be charged on any unpaid 2nd installment of taxes on Sept. 2, 2005.

The annual Tax Sale of any unpaid taxes will be Monday, October 24, 2005 at 10:00 am in the first floor Courtroom. All tax buyers must be registered in the Logan County Treasurer's office at least 10 days prior to the sale. Judgment day is October 17, 2005. Publication of unpaid Real Estate, Drainage and Mobile Home taxes. Certified letters for any unpaid taxes will be mailed September 16, 2005.
