Lincoln church celebrates 60 years of ministry in community Send a link to a friend[DEC. 2, 2005] What began as a prayer under an oak tree has become a 60-year-old ministry for Lincoln and surrounding communities. Lincoln Hill Free Methodist Church is celebrating 60 years of ministry with a special service at 10:30 a.m. Sunday and a luncheon immediately to follow. Having a long and prosperous history in the community, Lincoln Hill has been serving in Logan County from the corner of College and Seventh streets in Lincoln since 1945.
