About
50 community leaders gathered for a "Breakfast Chat" this morning. The
Lincoln and Logan County Development Partnership hosted the event to
discuss the future of Logan County. "This has been an important year for
economic development in Logan County," said Ron Schilling, president of
the partnership. He cited the
Sysco groundbreaking,
Wal-Mart development agreement, the
Illini Bio-Energy
ethanol plant planning to come to
Hartsburg, and Lincoln has new homes for the disabled being built with
the hope of
future development at Lincoln Estates, the
former LDC grounds.
