MASON CITY -- Wesley Brown
"Fizzle" Liesman, 80, of Mason City, died Friday, Jan. 21,
2005, at 12:08 p.m. at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6
p.m. Sunday at Hurley Funeral Home.
His funeral will be at 11 a.m.
Monday at Christ Lutheran Church, with the Rev. James Childs
and the Rev. Raymond Bell officiating.
Burial will be in Mason City
Cemetery.
Mr. Liesman was a farmer in
the Mason City area.
He was born May 11, 1924, in
Logan County to Grover and Pearl Sanders Liesman. He married
Marie Terviel in Lincoln on Aug. 15, 1942.
He is survived by his wife;
one son, Roger Liesman of Mason City; two daughters, Ronday
(and Richard) Reuss of Littleton, Colo., and Sue Liesman of
Mason City; two grandchildren; and four sisters, Gladys
Steinhour of Middletown, Dorothy Talkington of Springfield,
Lois Stuart of Perry, Mo., and Doris Morris of Vandalia, Mo.
He was preceded in death by brothers, one sister, one son
and one grandson, Jeff (and wife Andrea) Reuss.
He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church of Mason City,
Mason County Farm Bureau and the Illinois Angus Association.

MASON CITY -- Ruby M. Mills,
90, died Friday, Jan. 21, 2005, at 2:33 a.m. at the Mason City
Area Nursing Home.
Her funeral was Saturday
morning at St. Colomba's Catholic Church in Mason City,
with Father Thomas Shaw officiating.
There was no visitation.
Burial is in Mason City
Cemetery.
Hurley Funeral Home
handled arrangements.
Mrs. Mills was a retired state employee from the Illinois
secretary of state's office, where she had previously worked
in the Title Department.
She was born Feb. 23, 1914, in Springfield to John and Rose
Leone DeRosa. She married Dempsey Mills in 1941 in Alton. He
died in 1991.
She is survived by three brothers, James (and Ruth) DeRosa
of Colchester, Eugene DeRosa of Reno, Nev., and Richard (and
Sue) DeRosa of Escondido, Calif.
She was also preceded in death by four brothers and one
sister.

made to St. Columba's Catholic Church or Mason City Area
Nursing Home.

ATLANTA -- A memorial service for
Howard L. Hieronymus was Saturday morning at Quiram
Funeral Home.
Mr. Hieronymus, 53, of East
Peoria, formerly of Atlanta, died Jan. 2, 2005, at his home.
