LINCOLN -- Gene R. Peck, 86, died Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2005,
at 11 p.m. at Maple Ridge Care Centre.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Holland and
Barry Funeral Home.
His funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Holland and Barry,
with the Rev. Jame Hahs officiating.
Burial will be in Zion Cemetery.
Mr. Peck operated Peck and Son Heating and Cooling, was
maintenance supervisor at Lincoln College for 20 years and was
a sheet metal worker.
He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of World War II.
He was born March 6, 1918, at Canton to Elmer E. and Dolly
V. Clayton Peck. He married Ethel E. Esterline in Biloxi,
Miss., on April 12, 1944. She died Dec. 22, 1996.
He is survived by two sons, Michael F. Peck of Lincoln and
David G. Peck (and Mary) Polson of Camp Hill, Pa., and two
stepdaughters, Anna and Rachel, both of Camp Hill, Pa.
He attended the United Methodist Church and was a member of
the Elks Club.
