SAN JOSE -- Charlotte J. Lynn, 73, of San Jose died
Tuesday, July 26, 2005, at 11 p.m. at OSF Saint Francis
Medical Center in Peoria.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Hurley
Funeral Home in San Jose.
Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Emden Christian
Church, with Pastor Casey Tygrett officiating.
Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery, San Jose.
Mrs. Lynn was a homemaker.
She was born April 20, 1932, at Topeka to Paul and
Pauline Shipp Bunch. She married Darold Lynn on Oct. 21,
1950, in Ipava.
She is survived by her mother, of San Jose; one son, Mark
Lynn of Pekin; three daughters, Sue Franz of New Holland,
Debbie Evans of Pittsfield and Diana Blane of San Jose; 11
grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother, David
Bunch of North Highlands, Calif.; one sister, Elaine
Villarica of Roseville, Calif.; and several nieces and
nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father and one brother,
Dudley Bunch.
She was a member of Emden Christian Church, the Woman's
Club of the church and was a Sunday school teacher. She was
also a member of the San Jose Woman's Club, served as a
Mason County election judge and volunteered at the Lincoln
Christian Home. She was a former Brownie, Girl Scout and Boy
Scout leader.
Memorial contributions may be made to Emden Christian
Church, Shiloh or Peoria Rescue Mission.
