MASON CITY -- Lisa A. Pherigo, 41, of Mason City died
Wednesday, June 15, 2005, at 7:45 p.m. at OSF St. Francis
Medical Center in Peoria.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and her funeral
at 10 a.m. Saturday, both at Hurley Funeral Home in Mason
City.
Burial will be in Meadow Lawn Cemetery, Manito.
Mrs. Pherigo had been a bus driver for the Illini Central
School District for the past 10 years.
She was born April 10, 1964, in Tazewell County to Eldridge
and Joyce Hailey Canada. She married Scott B. Pherigo on June
26, 1982, in Forest City.
She is survived by her husband, of Mason City; her parents,
of Manito, two sons, Bradley Pherigo of Petersburg and
Benjamin Pherigo of Mason City; two daughters, Kayla Pherigo
and Mary Pherigo, both of Mason City; one granddaughter, Abby
Pherigo of New Holland; one brother, William E. (and Lori)
Canada of Manito; one sister, Lori (and Jim) Wolfe of Manito;
her maternal grandmother, Lola Hailey of Manito; 23 nieces and
nephews; and 13 great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather and
her paternal grandparents.
She was a leader of the Hilltop 4-H group, a member of
Ladies Ducks Unlimited and a scorekeeper for the Illini
Central track team.
Memorial contributions may be made to an education fund for
her children through the First State Bank of Mason City or to
the Susan G. Komen Foundation. |
