To the editor:
Thank you to the churches, clubs, schools, Adopt-A-Family
sponsors, those who rang bells, packed baskets, interviewed
families, and other individuals of Logan County who are all
supporters of The Salvation Army. A total of 330 volunteers and
their gift of 971 hours made The Salvation Army 2004 annual
Christmas kettle campaign a success!
Through your gifts of time and money, The Salvation Army was able
to assist 103 families over the holidays. Assistance with
Thanksgiving food boxes, the Home for the Holidays eviction
prevention program, the Adopt-A-Family program which provided food,
miscellaneous gifts for families at Christmas and special gift
certificates for developmentally handicapped adults was given.

column in this letter] |
In addition, during 2004 The Salvation Army provided
approximately 600 individuals with various types of assistance,
including, but not limited to, food pantry items, utility and
housing costs, limited life-sustaining prescription costs, and
numerous other forms of assistance.
All possible only because of the generosity of Logan County
residents.
Thank you!
Capt. Dean A. Sanders
