to head Memorial Health System's Alternative Care Services

SPRINGFIELD --
Dolan Dalpoas of Lincoln has been appointed administrator of
Alternative Care Services, an affiliate of Memorial Health System.
The appointment took effect May 4. In his new position, Dalpoas is
responsible for all Alternative Care Services operations. These
include Memorial HomeCare Network, which is one of the largest
providers of home and medical products and services in central
Illinois. Other divisions are three retail pharmacies, a home
infusion therapy pharmacy, a physician billing center and the
Orthopaedic Surgery Center of Illinois, a partnership with
Orthopaedic Center of Illinois.

Dalpoas had been interim administrator
at Alternative Care Services since March 2005. Prior to that, he
served as assistant administrator and director of quality management
for Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Lincoln. ALMH is also a
Memorial Health System affiliate.
He joined ALMH in 1994 as a staff physical therapist. In 1998, he
was promoted to manager of the hospital's rehabilitation services.
In 2001, he took on dual responsibilities as manager of
rehabilitation services and director of quality management. He
became assistant administrator and director of quality management in
2004.
He earned a bachelor's degree from
Daemen College in Amherst, N.Y., and a master's degree in public
health from the University of Illinois at Springfield. He has also
earned the professional credential Fellow of the American College of
Healthcare Executives.

He is active in civic and community affairs in Lincoln. He is a
member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks, Lodge
914. He volunteers his time with the Oasis senior center and is a
parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church.
He and his wife, Elizabeth, live in Lincoln with their 3-year-old
son, Joseph.
