Storm
clouds darkened the skies over Logan County in the late afternoon
Wednesday and again Thursday morning. The storm system barreled down out
of the northwest with high, gusting winds and dangerous lightning,
wreaking damage throughout the county. Numerous downed limbs and power
lines led to widespread power and phone outages. Scattered heavy rains
accompanied the storms as well.
