There is no visitation. A graveside service will
be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Hartsburg Union Cemetery.
Charles Embree, a nephew, will officiate.
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln
is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Embree was retired from farming at Hartsburg.
He was born Dec. 21, 1909, at Moberly, Mo., to
Charles and Emma Smith Embree. He married Matilda
Behrends Shirley; she died in 1964. He married J.
Virginia H. Parsons on July 3, 1968; she died June
12, 2003.
He is survived by two stepdaughters, Jenny Lou
(and Stanley) Boughan of Lincoln and Priscilla (and
Dean) Rademaker of Springfield; one sister, Ava Wear
of Shelbina, Mo; eight stepgrandchildren; and 13
step-great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by three brothers
and one sister.
He was a member of Lincoln Christian Church and
Lincoln Lodge 210.
