To the editor: District 6 residents have a choice this election
for the county board. Mike McIntosh is challenging long time
incumbent Paul Gleason. It is a challenge to the residents of
District 6 to change the business as usual representation we have on
the County Board.
Mike has lived in Lincoln for 15 years. He actually resides in and
maintains his home in our District. He doesn't just own property
here. He lives among us.
Mike's education and experience in business and law would be an
asset to our County Board. As a long time friend of Mike and Penny,
I know that Mike is a problem solver. He recognizes the heart of
issues and pursues resolution. His ideas for thoroughly planning
ahead for the best economic development potential if refreshing. The
current system of luring business here, then dealing with the issues
involved later is not working for the good of Logan County.
Our pet control and adoption agency and the many dedicated
volunteers need another voice on the board. This issue is what
prompted Mike to run for the County Board initially.
Let's vote for the future.
Vote Mcintosh on March 21st.
