WASHINGTON -- U.S. Rep. Ray LaHood,
R-Peoria, will be the guest Sunday for C-SPAN's
"Q&A," a new interview series
with Brian Lamb, C-SPAN president and CEO.

According to C-SPAN, during the "Q&A" program, "We introduce you to
interesting people who are making things happen in politics, the
media, education, and science and technology in hour-long
conversations about their lives and their work." The C-SPAN
description of this week's program is as follows: "Rep. Ray LaHood
discusses his 12 years in the U.S. House and influence of money in
politics. He announced last month (July) that he would not seek
re-election in 2008. He represents the 18th Congressional District
in central Illinois, which includes Peoria and parts of Springfield
and Decatur."
The hour-long program will air on C-SPAN at 7 and 10 p.m. Central
time on Sunday, as well as a third time at 5 a.m. Central on Monday.
