Ruth Johanna Adam, 86, of Lincoln died
Saturday, Dec. 22, 2007, at 6:24 p.m. at Memorial Medical Center in
Springfield.
Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Zion Lutheran Church in
Lincoln with the Rev. Mark Thompson officiating. Visitation will be
from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the church and one hour prior to the
service on Thursday. |
Burial will be in Zion Cemetery.
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home of Lincoln is
handling arrangements.
Mrs. Adam was a homemaker.
She was born Aug. 27, 1921, at Meredosia to
William H. and Eda Roegge Fricke. She married
William W. Adam in Petersburg on June 6, 1959.
She is survived by her husband, of Lincoln; one
son, Philip (and Kathy) Adam of Minneapolis, Minn.;
one daughter, Laura Ann Adam of Bloomington; three
brothers, William (and Marilyn) Fricke of
Petersburg, Glenn (and Carol) Fricke of Petersburg
and Paul (and Beverly) Fricke of Minneapolis, Minn.;
one sister, Berniece Schneider of Newark, Ohio; and
two grandchildren, David Adam and Marie Adam, both
of Minneapolis, Minn.
She was preceded in death by an infant son,
Jonathan Adam, and three brothers, Earl Fricke,
Gilbert Fricke and John Fricke. |
She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church of Lincoln,
Zion Lutheran Missionary Society and the Zion
Lutheran Ladies Aid.
Memorials may be made to Zion Lutheran Building
Fund or American Cancer Society.
