Trailing 2-1 in the third,
Lincoln broke the game open with three runs in the third and four
runs in the forth to seal the victory. Lincoln was paced by Gary
Rademaker, who went 3-5. Justin Mason had a double, and Cody Aughton,
Justin Ritchhart and Royce Duncan each added a hit for Lincoln in a
consistent offensive attack through the whole night.
Great pitching was the key to Lincoln’s victory. Cramer Soebbing
(1-0) got the start, pitched three innings and picked up his first
win of the season. Royce Duncan, Schoonover and Josh Gardner
provided solid relief for Soebbing. After getting into some early
inning trouble, Lincoln lefty Schoonover picked off four Clinton
base runners in the seventh and eighth innings in relief.
