William E. Schultz, 54, of Springfield,
formerly of Lincoln, died Sunday, June 17, 2007, at 5:53 p.m. at St.
John's Hospital in Springfield.

His funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader
Funeral Home in Lincoln, with Tim Searby officiating. Visitation
will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in New Union Cemetery.
Mr. Schultz
was a factory worker for 33 years at Enercon in
Peoria.
He was born Sept. 21, 1952, in Springfield.
He is survived by one sister, Diane Deatherage of
Springield; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and
a lifelong friend, Beverly P. Power of Springfield.
He was preceded in death by his maternal and
paternal grandparents, his mother, Betty Turley
Gentile; his father; one brother, Robert A. Schultz;
and one sister, Carolyn Hamilton.
