Mary Beverman

[February 04, 2008]  Mary L. Beverman, 80, of Lincoln, formerly of Beason, died Saturday, Feb. 2, 2008, at 3 p.m. at Hawthorne Inn in Clinton.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln. Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. David Armstrong-Reiner officiating.

Burial will be in Richmond Grove Cemetery, New Holland.

Mrs. Beverman retired from State Bank of Lincoln.

She was born Feb. 14, 1927, in Lincoln to Floyd and Freida Huebner Boughan. She married Delmar E. Beverman on Feb 16, 1965, in Decatur. He preceded her in death on April 15, 1997.

She is survived by one son, Rodney (and Sara) Beverman of Lincoln; three daughters, Kay (and David) Stroud of Armington, Jan Schacht of Lincoln and Vicki (and Larry) Huelskoetter of Beason; one sister, Annabelle Rademaker of Tampa, Fla.; and nine grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one brother, Paul Boughan.

She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, the Ladies Aid at the church and the church choir. She was also a member of Elks Emblem Club.

Memorials will be made to Alzheimer's disease research or Lincoln Area YMCA.
