Notice is hereby given that registration for the General Primary Election on February 5, 2008 will close on January 8, 2008 (with the exception of grace period registration beginning January 9, 2008 and ending January 22, 2008 in the office of the Logan County Clerk). All persons who are or will be

18 on or before February 5, 2008 may register in person at the Logan County Clerk's Office, Room 20, Courthouse, Lincoln, Ill., from 8:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. You may also register with your precinct committeeman, local library, or Driver's License Facility when receiving services. It is necessary to provide two forms of identification when registering to vote. One form must contain your current address. If you have moved from the address given on your voter registration card, you may transfer your address by telephone, mail, or in person at the office of the County Clerk. If you were formerly registered in another county or state, you must re-register. Any person who has changed their name by marriage or by law must re-register.
