LAWNDALE -- Albert C. Kuehl, 81, of
Lawndale died Saturday, March 22, 2008, at 9:45 p.m. at Passavant
Hospital in Jacksonville. |
A memorial service for Mr. Kuehl will be at 2 p.m.
Saturday, March 29, at Lincoln Southern Baptist
Church with Pastor Dennis Shaw officiating. No
visitation is scheduled. Cremation rites have been
accorded.
Peasley Funeral Home is in charge of
arrangements.
Mr. Kuehl retired from National Byproduct as a
truck driver.
He was in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Albert Clifford Kuehl was born Oct. 8, 1926, in
Defiance, Ohio, to Emil Leo and Edith Carpenter
Kuehl. He married Virginia May Cravens on July 10,
1971. She preceded him in death on April 24, 2007.
He is survived by his children, Lori Kuehl of
Lawndale, Patty Maton Burns of Greenville, Sandra
Mate of Chatham, Barb Chandra of Springfield, Susie
Ferguson of Springfield, Michael Kuehl of Virginia
Beach, Va., and David Kuehl of New Berlin; two
sisters, Nellie (and James) Walston of Mount Carmel
and Florence Kuehl of Brighton; two brothers, Bob
(and Sally) Kuehl of Mount Auburn and Donald (and
Linda) Kuehl of Decatur; 10 grandchildren; and five
great-grandchildren. |
He was preceded in death by one brother, John Quincy
Kuehl, and two sisters, Ruth Ann Hunzicker and Cleo
Deloris Kuehl.
He was a member of the Lincoln Southern Baptist
Church.
