Eugene Stuckel

[September 05, 2008]  A memorial service for Eugene Raymond Stuckel, 63, of Lincoln, will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 9, at Peasley Funeral Home in Lincoln. Visitation will be prior to the service, from 5 until 7 p.m.

Mr. Stuckel died Aug. 29, 2008, at 11:15 a.m. at his home.

Cremation rites have been accorded.

Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery at a later date.

Mr. Stuckel had been employed at Wal-Mart and Lincoln IGA.

He was born July 18, 1945, in Lincoln to Raymond J. and Mildred Lucille Molloy Stuckel.

He is survived by his cousins, Pam (and Dan) White of Lincoln, Judi Hutchings of Divernon, Stephanie (and John) Stoll of Champaign, Steve (and Barb) Stuckel of Eden Prairie, Wis., Robert (and Loretta) Molloy of Prescott, Ariz., and Jim Molloy of Bloomington.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He graduated from Lincoln Community High School in 1963. He then attended Knox College and graduated from San Francisco State College.

Gene had many interests, including theater and music, especially the 1960s groups. He was an avid reader and followed politics. He always enjoyed visiting with his classmates, friends and family.
