Larry Anderson took the first trip of the year on the new Duet Wheelchair Bike at the Christian Village. His nephew Victor Board was more than happy to take the bike out for a spin with Larry.

"The wheelchair bike was one addition to our home that helps bring more outdoor activities and enjoyment to our residents. We are always looking for new, creative ideas to enhance the quality of life for our residents, and this was a huge success!" stated Marcia Cook, community nurse liaison.

This is a labor of love for Larry Van Bibber. He had been working on pulling all the weeds between the bricks at the All Veterans Park on Union Street on Monday evening. When we asked him how long he had been at it, he smiled and said, "A little while." He comes here regularly to keep the memorial presentable. It is not his job but he takes it seriously. His only hope is that someone else will step in when he can no longer do it. Are there others out there who will answer his call? Thank you, Larry.
