Atlanta Betterment Fest
SPONSOR:
Atlanta Betterment Fund
WHO:
Open to the public
DETAILS:
Downtown Atlanta was in a festive mood last June when the Atlanta
Betterment Fund hosted the Cattle Bandits band at the first Atlanta
Betterment Fest. Well, we’re doing it again and this time it will be
bigger and better. Plan to join us for great music, a cookout
featuring grilled rib-eyes, pork chops and brats, a beer tent,
silent auction, and lots more. The Cattle Bandits will be back and
they’ll be joined by another area band, Neon Cactus. Free.
All proceeds from the Atlanta Betterment Fest will be used by the
Atlanta Betterment Fund to help support Atlanta’s businesses and
services. Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend. Current
projects being supported by the Atlanta Betterment Fund include
remodeling work at the Country-Aire Restaurant, marketing assistance
and remodeling at the Atlanta Inn, and continued support of efforts
to reopen Atlanta’s grocery store, the Atlanta Country Market.
