Trick-or-treat on the square

The annual "Trick-or-Treat with the Mayor" is one of several programs promoted by Main Street Lincoln in an effort to keep families shopping with their downtown merchants. This year 20 businesses offered treats along the walking parade route from Latham Park throughout the downtown area.

Wanda Lee Rohlfs, aka Witch Wanda, gets a hug and a hot cup of coffee from Scott Hauck, who handed out candy for his friends at Bryant's Arcade Café.

 

She then made her way to Sherwin-Williams, where Kevin Callarman offered her some of the candy he had left after the trick-or-treaters had passed through.



 

 

Pastor Jacob Skelton (center) gets help from Charlene Maple and Judy Vincent in passing out goodies offered by the congregation of the LifePointe Church of God.

Jeannie Xamis of Serendipity Stitches fills the bag of a young trick-or-treater.

...but not before stopping by Dickson's Tacos and More for treats from Larry and Joyce Dickson.
