Thanksgiving morning in Lincoln means the Guzzardo family, staff and community volunteers are all working to help get a perfect Thanksgiving meal to everyone in need. This year the Guzzardo family served up a record 512 free meals to the community. John Guzzardo (in black shirt) looks out the door to see if there are enough volunteers waiting to drive meals to homes. There were more than enough.

Hair Plus a real "Plus" to the community.

Hair Plus owner Diana Pickett and her staff have special days during the year when revenues received go to a special cause. This time the staff chose the United Way of Logan County and brought in a remarkable amount to help the local agency.

The seventh-grade Lady Wolverine basketball team made history Wednesday night. The girls brought home the regional championship for the seventh-grade 1A for the first time in West Lincoln-Broadwell School history.
