A greeting for Beeby.

Friday evening a large group of Lincoln folk gathered on the courthouse lawn to participate in the filming of a DVD that will be sent to Jon Beeby. Beeby passed through Lincoln a few weeks ago on his walk across America for charity. Beeby spent a great deal of time with Lincolnite Roger Matson, seeing the sights of Lincoln, and he expressed his hope to return and spend some real quality time here when his walk is finished.  (See June 6 article.)

Speaking during the filming were Matson, who is the president of Main Street Lincoln; Wanda Lee Rohlfs, Main Street executive director; Mayor Keith Snyder; Andi Hake, executive director of the chamber of commerce; and Geoff Ladd, tourism director.
