LINCOLN -- Roberta M. Hursh, 88, of
Lincoln, died Saturday, March 26, 2011, at 5:05 p.m. at the
Christian Nursing Home.
Her funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln. Visitation
will be one hour prior to the service. |
Burial will be in New Union Cemetery.
Mrs. Hursh and her husband owned Hursh T.V. and
Radio in Lincoln for many years.
She was born Dec. 12, 1922, in Clinton. Her
parents were Clarence and Lyda Davis Stubbs. She
married Oliver Hursh on Sept. 29, 1940, and he
preceded her in death on Jan. 9, 1997.
She is survived by nieces Donna (and Nilo)
McCallum of Tustin, Calif., Cynthia Martin-Popejoy
(and Burt) of Atlanta, Mary Cox of Longmont, Colo.,
and Carole (and Bob) Sullenberger of Hygiene, Colo.;
nephews David (and Deb) Martin of LaPorte, Colo.,
Richard (and Linda) Martin of Page, Ariz., and Steve
(and Susie) Martin of Tucson, Ariz.; sisters-in-law
Ella Mae Stubbs of Tustin, Calif., and Evelyn Hursh
Martin of Longmont, Colo.; and special friends
Gaylord and Susie Bidwell and Linda Barrick.
She was also preceded in death by one brother,
George, and nephews Mark Martin and Ross (and
Gloria) Martin. |
She was of the Baptist faith.
Memorials may be given to Christian Nursing Home
or Logan County Animal Rescue.
