WARRENSBURG -- Margaret Irene Bluem
Turner, 83, of Warrensburg, died Sunday, May 1, 2011, at 12:24 p.m. at St. Mary's Hospital in Decatur. |
Her funeral will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount
Pulaski, with the Rev. Joel Cluver conducting the
service. Prior to the service, there will be
visitation from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Her graveside
service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Greenmount
Cemetery, Quincy.
Mrs. Turner was a secretary for Quincy Junior
High School for 23 years. She was the Warrensburg
village clerk from 1994 to 2001
She was born on March 17, 1928, at Mishawaka,
Ind., to Melvin and Bernice Moyer Bluem. She married
Albert N. Hepler III in 1947. She later married
Robert R. Turner in 1957, and he preceded her in
death in 1987.
Margaret is survived by a daughter, Karen (and
the Rev. Joel) Cluver of Latham; a son, John (and
Pat) Turner of Flower Mound, Texas; grandchildren
Jonathan (and Julie) Cluver of Columbia, Mo., Jason
(and Cora) Cluver of Jefferson City, Mo., Mary (and
Travis) Wuethrich of Roanoke, Anna Cluver of Latham
and Susanna (and Jordan) Hopman of Beecher; two
stepgrandchildren, Christopher and Kimberly Goodloe
of Flower Mound, Texas; and great-grandchildren
Jacob, Sarah and Jared Cluver of Jefferson City,
Mo., and Joel and William Cluver of Columbia, Mo. |
She was a member of the Warrensburg United Methodist
Church. She had taught Sunday school at First
Presbyterian Church in South Bend, Ind., and First
Presbyterian in Quincy. She also served as an elder
of First Presbyterian in Quincy.
She graduated from Mishawaka High School in 1946
and attended South Bend College of Commerce.
Memorials may be made to Gift of Hope, for organ
and tissue donations.
