the clouds parted and sun rolled out, shining
down on Lincoln’s newest community project, the
Lincoln Community Gardens.

Barack Obama says he wants to be the president who restores people's
belief in the American dream.
Team Warrior Concepts mixed martial arts school in
Springfield, coached by Lex James and Scot Ward, sent two youth
competitors to this weekend's North American Grappling Association
Submission Fighting Championship in Chicago.
Daniel Meredith placed second in the division for 9-year-olds, and Lincoln's
own Austin Swarts won the championship among the 13-year-olds,
winning each fight by submission.
