In this April 29 photo, a giant sculpture of a girl's head, by
Spanish artist Jaume Plensa, stands in New York's Madison Square
Park, with the Empire State Building visible in the background. The
44-foot-tall "Echo" was officially unveiled Thursday.
The artist says the white fiberglass resin work is based on the
9-year-old daughter of a restaurant owner near his home in
Barcelona. It will remain in the park until Aug. 14.
Exercise rider Hector Ramos takes Kentucky Derby
entrant Uncle Mo for a workout at Churchill Downs in Louisville, Ky.,
