Lincoln Daily News
welcomes letters of appreciation, information and
opinion on matters pertaining to the community.
Controversial issues:
As a
community we need to be able to talk openly about
matters that affect the quality of our lives. The
most effective and least offensive manner to get
your point across is to stick to the issue
and refrain from commenting on another person's
opinion. Letters that deviate from focusing on the
issue may be rejected or edited and marked as such.

Editor's note: LDN has received
no information on the reason for Dr. Kottemann's leave of absence.
We encourage readers who value this doctor to keep sending your
letters, but, please make your letter one of support for his
reinstatement. To the editor:
I am shocked to see that Dr. Kottemann has been put on leave from
Family Medical. After I learned on what grounds this leave was based
upon, I was even more appalled. This is ridiculous. Dr. Kottemann
has been my doctor since I was a baby. The reason for firing Dr.
Kottemann is selfish and arrogant on the administrators' part of
Family Medical.
Dr. Kottemann is a veteran doctor that CANNOT be replaced. I as a
patient demand that justice be done by giving Dr. Kottemann his
position back.
