A memorial service for Mrs. Haines will be at 11
a.m. Saturday at the McLean United Methodist Church.
Pastor Andy Maxwell will officiate. Cremation
rites have been accorded, and inurnment will be in
McLean Cemetery.
Arrangements are with Quiram-Peasley Funeral Home
of Atlanta.
Elizabeth retired in 1965 from the Dixie, where
she had worked as a bookkeeper.
She was born on March 9, 1911, in McLean. Her
parents were Arthur and Glenn Robbins Baker. She
married Clifford Huffman in 1930, and he preceded
her in death in 1949. She then married Harold Haines
in 1951, and he preceded her in death in 2001.
She was also preceded in death by one brother,
Arthur Raymond Baker, and one sister, Margaret
Durbin.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
She was a member of the McLean United Methodist
Church.
Her family extends special thanks to OSF Hospice
for providing such loving care for her.
