last of the poster winners is second-grade student Nikos Paulus. Nikos was taken to school by firemen from the Lincoln Fire
Department. Students at West Lincoln-Broadwell were eating
breakfast in the cafeteria when the big red truck stopped
outside their window. The special ride was Nikos’ prize for
creating the winning poster in the fire department’s contest for
Fire Prevention Month. He said the ride was fun, but he was
quiet on the ride to school and was very serious when telling
his friends about the ride. His parents are John and Tonya Paulus.
