Tuesday evening, Mayor Keith Snyder showed the city council a drawing that indicated the city street department buildings on Third Street are encroaching on city rights of way. Though it is all city property, the drawing showed that when the buildings are torn down for soil remediation, they cannot be built back within the actual borders of the property lines. The bottom line is that the city is going to have to find a new permanent location for the street and alley facilities.
