Periodic storms possible today through Thursday night

The National Weather Service in Lincoln
released a weather outlook at 5:53 a.m. Wednesday for portions of
central, east-central and southeast Illinois. This outlook is for
the counties of Cass, Champaign, Christian, Clark, Clay, Coles,
Crawford, Cumberland, DeWitt, Douglas, Edgar, Effingham, Fulton,
Jasper, Knox, Lawrence, Logan, Macon, Marshall, Mason, McLean,
Menard, Morgan, Moultrie, Peoria, Piatt, Richland, Sangamon,
Schuyler, Scott, Shelby, Stark, Tazewell, Vermilion and Woodford:

Wednesday and Wednesday night Periodic thunderstorm chances
are expected through the period, especially later this afternoon
into tonight. Severe weather is not anticipated at this time.
Thursday through Tuesday
Thunderstorm chances will linger through Thursday night. A few of
the storms may be severe, primarily Thursday afternoon and evening
as an area of low pressure moves across the region.
