Thursday was supposed to be the day for storms and rain in Lincoln and Logan County. In the midmorning hours the skies looked as though they were going to deliver. In town it grew dark enough that streetlights came on, and to the north of town, Devin Biggs reported suspicious-looking cloud formations. In the end Lincoln received about two-tenths of an inch of rain, and the severe storms along with damage and heavy rains moved to the east, north and south.
