Welcome,
spring? Do we dare hope that these little flowers and
sprigs of green grass know more about the weather than the
groundhog does? While many have enjoyed this mild winter,
such winters can also bring on their own type of spring and
summer problems, such as insects that have survived in soils
that never actually froze solid this year.

The Storm Prediction Center has issued a tornado watch for
all the counties east and south of Logan County. It has been
described as a "particularly dangerous situation." Due to the
proximity to Logan and the possibility that you might travel, please
monitor commercial or NWS weather sources as the situation
develops. Currently the watch is set to expire at 6 p.m.
