LEWISTOWN
-- What was it
like to attend a one-room school? As part of the Spoon River Reads
project, Dickson Mounds Museum and the Fulton County Arts Council
will present "Life as a Student in a One Room School" on Saturday.
Visitors will learn about the history of one-room schools in Fulton
County. Participants may come dressed in 19th-century or early
20th-century garb and enjoy a hands-on craft project.
