In a split second on Sunday evening, all the excitement of the demolition derby at the Logan County Fair left the track and landed on the stage! The reaction on the stage was more that of being startled than afraid. As the demolition promotion crew, Miss Logan County Fair, Little Miss Logan County and their escort all watched, stunned, the demo car was pushed onto the stage. However, the table between the car and people stayed in place, everyone stayed seated, and no one was injured. Because this happened in the first few seconds of the heat, the driver was allowed to go on and compete in the next round. LDN's fair coverage will continue through Tuesday in our daily editions.
