In spite of occasional rain throughout the day Thursday, work on Hamilton Street went on as promised. The whitetop project involved pouring concrete. The construction company doing the job, Otto Baum, had a massive crew on hand, covering the concrete to protect it from the raindrops and pushing hard to keep the project on schedule. If all goes well, Hamilton Street should reopen Monday.
