The
photo above, taken at this year's Up In Smoke barbecue competition, shows Chris Graue at the left with one of the competition winners. Graue is the
driving force behind the annual competition. In today's Top Stories is an
announcement that Graue has been nominated as the Time and Ally Dealer of the
Year. Graue is among only 57 dealers to be nominated. Peter J. Sander, president of the Illinois Automobile Dealers Association,
made the nomination. The
Dealer of the Year award, which will be given out in January, is in
recognition of the auto dealers who serve their community, not only through their
business but also through their tremendous efforts to support community
programs. Graue's involvement in Up in Smoke, Boy Scouts and many other
local events earned him the recognition from the state association. Read
