Local artist David Alexander's stained-glass creation entitled "Five Doves" was dedicated this week at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital. The installation can be seen on the second floor, across from the public elevators. Alan and Barb Kline sought out Alexander to design and build the piece. This week it was sausage making time at Zion Lutheran School. Several volunteers came together and created the special sausages that will be served today as part of the school's annual pancake breakfast fundraiser. If you've not been there yet this morning, hurry on out and enjoy a great breakfast for a very good cause.

The two are featured in a special article in Memorial Health System's 2013 annual report.

The two doctors are part of a new program, an integrated care team that combines medicine and psychiatric services to provide vital services designed to fit the needs of the patient.

With this kind of crowd cheering them on, is it any wonder that the Railers are having a great season? Friday night the team beat out Sacred Heart-Griffin 67-47. The team is scheduled to go up against Southeast tonight at 6:30 at Southeast. Hopefully Mother Nature won't throw a wrench in that plan.
