Update: Boy found

CHICAGO — The Illinois emergency alert system has issued an Amber Alert for a missing 5-year-old boy.

Police say he was abducted during a carjacking on Thursday afternoon in Park Ridge, a northwest suburb of Chicago.

Police are looking for a white 2012 Audi Q5 with Illinois license plate R843615. The boy was taken from the 1700 block of Good Avenue.

The boy is Drake Whitker, standing at 3-foot-6 and weighing about 38 pounds. He has blond hair and blue-green eyes. He was last seen wearing a black polo coat.

The suspect is described as a black male with an Afro hairstyle who was wearing a jacket and jeans, according to the alert.

Anyone with information about the child's whereabouts should call 911 or Park Ridge police at 847-318-5252.
