Public Notice

The City of Lincoln Street Department will be accepting Sealed Bids on surplus Equipment that is no longer needed. Bids will be accepted on all equipment through 3:30 P.M. Friday, July 11, 2014. Bids may be dropped off at the Street Department at 103 3rd St. Bids should be written or typed with the bidder’s name, address and phone number. All equipment is being sold in as is condition and the city reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The items up for bid can be viewed by appointment by contacting Street Superintendent Walt landers at 217-732-4655. The equipment available is as follows: 1980 C70 single axle dump truck with spreader box, 1989 C70 single axle dump truck, 1975 Athey Force Feed Loader 7110 series 666-132, Gas engine concrete mixer, 3 point hitch tree spayed, 3 point hitch sprayer with pump and 100 Gal. tank and 2 large backhoe buckets.
