Cub Scouts partner with local hospice ministry

Paul Schwantz, Aidan Alaniz, Peyton Schwantz, Porter Schwantz and David Morrow (left to right), all members of Lincoln Cub Scout Pack 101, presented an assortment of handmade cards and handicrafts to Safe Haven Hospice staff to give to their patients. Safe Haven nursing staff members Kelly Davis, Debi Reed and Kelly Gonzales are pictured accepting the crafts. Pack 101 is led by Dana Alaniz, cubmaster. Safe Haven Hospice, based in downtown Lincoln, serves over 40 hospice patients in central Illinois.
