This
evening the Logan County Zoning Board of Appeals
will continue public hearing on a request by Viper
Mine to rezone land it owns from Agriculture with
Conditional Use District to M-3 mining. The rezoning
would enable the mine to develop a new site for fly
ash, a by-product of burned coal. The land is
adjacent, north and northwest, to the current
impoundment and ponds.
