In some parts of the community water levels are still on the rise. LDN has been keeping an eye on a particular park bench at the Sportsman Club pond south of Lincoln. On June 26, a shot was taken showing that one could still sit on the bench if they wanted wet feet. A few days later on the 30th, the seat of the bench was covered and only a portion of the backrest was visible. Yesterday, on July 9 after three inches of rain the day before, the bench has all but disappeared! The recently consistent rainy days in the area have made many of us wonder, "When will it end?"
