On
Friday evening, and for most of the day on Saturday,
city of Lincoln aldermen, city leaders and
department heads met in Normal for a Strategic Plan
workshop. The Saturday event was fast moving and
produced a lot of results. This week, starting
today, LDN will be bringing its readers a complete
account of the event. Pictured above are those who
participated in the Saturday session with the
exception of Steve Parrott, who had to leave early.

The
West Lincoln-Broadwell Sixth Grade Round Robin
Tournament wrapped up Saturday night after a day of
games. At the final game, the undefeated teams of the
Lincoln Junior High Trojans and the Greenview Bulldogs
went head to head. At the half, they were tied up. The
Trojans took control of the floor in the second half and
emerged as the tournament champions at the end of the
night.
